Just as a side note - I took my Tankstick out a few nights ago to test a theory that MA and X-Arcade sticks may have a compatibility problem and sure enough I was able to exit games without any issues. I really don't want to use a different front end as this one is by far and away my favorite. Is anyone else having this problem? It's hard to believe my system can't handle the programs as I'm running a P4 3.2ghz with 2GB RAM, Win XP SP2, and an X-ARCADE Tankstick. It's very frustrating to have to ALT-CTRL-DEL to get out of a game, and reboot the system every time o(since the X-Arcade stick doesn't respond correctly after Alt+Ctl-Del and closing it) - My friends and family are pretty much stuck playing 1 game at a time. Just place in your flvs folder and double click on it. Use a batch renaming script and rename extension of files in seconds.
MAXIMUS ARCADE MP4
Just a little trick: rename all mp4 files to avi. The 'Exit Executable' button I assign just doesn't work, on my X-Arcade Tankstick or on the Keyboard itself (i had it as the letter B, or a button my X-Arcade, and I also tried 2 buttons together on the X-Arcade, one of each players side.nothing worked). For all people who want MP4 support, Maximus arcade already support it. For some reason I still can't exit games all of the time after playing for a short period of time. and i'll have to rescan again.Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem: I close preference menu by the X, sometime it doesn't pick it up the rescan if you click close tab for some reason.

Although best suited for use in computer-based arcade cabinets, it can be configured for use in a kiosk or simply running on a computer with a keyboard, trackball, or arcade joystick.
MAXIMUS ARCADE SOFTWARE
If anyone has any ideas why please let me know. Maximus Arcade is Windows-based software that allows you to relive thousands of classic games and creates seamless interaction with multiple arcade and console emulators while keeping the Windows environment hidden. I'm stumped, have looked at cfg files and MA being discontinued and not supported, not having much luck finding a solution online. Ive added in the config and game list all the emulators I have installed (Mame, Megadrive, Snes, C64, TI 99/4A, N64) and rom paths, snaps etc but still, all I get is Mame. Have a problem, In the emulator selection screen, I should be able to select from a huge amount of emulators, but all I can select from is MAME. It is widely-considered the easiest software for reliving classic games with emulators like MAME. I've been maming a 2 sided horizontal cocktail machine for the last couple weeks, and using Maximus Arcade as I like the interface look and feel. Maximus Arcade software is best described as the iTunes for storing and playing nearly any arcade or game console game from the past 3 decades You can use Maximus Arcade on nearly any computer with a keyboard, trackball, or gamepad.
